Amp Genie was invented in Los Angeles by an AV integrator whose customers were always asking for their home sound systems to be easier to use. Clients wanted the simplicity of App Control and Voice Control, combined with the top quality sound of their home theater systems. Yet no inexpensive solution existed to make them easily work together. The only options were complex control systems costing thousands of dollars in installation and maintenance costs.
Determined to offer a better solution, the company’s owner designed Amp Genie as the simple solution of making the home receiver turn on automatically when sound from a player was sensed. Designed and tested in the field by professional integrators to be simple, reliable, set up quickly and be compatible with most receivers. It's a win-win for both regular people and pro installers.
